Privacy Policy
Effective October 19, 2026
This policy explains what information Palisade Analytics ("Palisade," "we," "us") collects through this website and in the course of our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, email us or otherwise contact us, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, business name and anything you choose to tell us about your business.
Business data from clients. If you become a client and connect your store (for example, Shopify) or share files with us, we access the business records needed for the analysis you request, such as orders, products, prices and inventory. Store records can contain information about your own customers. We do not need it for our work and limit our use of it to what the analysis requires.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. This site also loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
The calculator on our homepage runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to respond to you and schedule calls, to prepare estimates and deliver the analysis you engage us for, to communicate with you about your project, to keep our website and services working and secure, and to meet legal obligations.
We use client business data only to provide services to that client. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business data to serve advertising.
3. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that help us operate, such as Calendly (scheduling), Google (email), Shopify (store connections) and our website host. They may process information on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
- Legal reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, our clients or others.
- Business changes, such as a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to your information.
4. Cookies
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. When you follow a link to book a call, Calendly's site may set its own cookies under its own policy. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required. Our Cookie Policy has the details.
5. How long we keep information
We keep contact information for as long as needed to respond to you and maintain our business records. We delete client business data within 30 days after an engagement ends, unless the client asks us to keep it for ongoing work or the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including read-only access to connected stores wherever possible and limiting access to the people doing your work. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. Clients can disconnect store access at any time from their store settings. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor requests as the law requires.
8. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will take reasonable steps to let clients know.
